Your smart phone must be poorly maintained. Keep your phone memory free from cluttered files and delete unnecessary apps or files. You may also check your battery status to see any abnormal electric circuits. It is also important to have it check to the repair center.

I guess many people use this reason to justify themselves in buying new phones that will be more functional and advanced in features. Sometimes, you'll hear them saying that since technology is really fast, you can't help but to buy a new phone packed with new exciting camera performance, great connectivity to internet, and more battery power. There are lots to say in buying new phone. 

Some people may also say that bringing your phone in a repair center/shop will just make you spend more money. Well, it depends on the part to be replaced. 

If you have extra money and your phone doesn't work properly which can compromise your work productivity, then you can buy a new phone that will ease your temper.
