is Facebook on losing ground?

According to CNN, "Facebook shares soared 15% Wednesday on blowout quarterly results -- but the stock lost steam after the company admitted young teens are losing interest in the site."

It is very difficult to judge a social giant media which we all know and use most of the time. However, something might be wrong on how the Facebook is perceived. We need to remind ourselves that Facebook must maintain its primary purpose which is to improve the quality of communication to our love ones and an outlet of our expression through social media.

The Facebook shares were slightly lower after the announcement that it was not planning to increase its ads in user feed news section.

However, Mark Zuckerberg denied that allegations concerning these young teens were not true. While, Facebook, had disclosed that it had not made "any meaningful revenue" from its current mobile users. On the other hand, expenses grew 45% over the year citing the increased in hiring more people and additional infrastructures despite ad revenue of $1.8 Billion and $218 Million in-apps payments collection.

What do you think?
