A recent news regarding the truck which contained radioactive elements for medical treatment was reported to be stolen. The authorities found out that the truck contains cobalt-60 teletherapy chemicals. The delivery destination was from a hospital in Tijuana to a radioactive waste storage center in Tepojaco, near Mexico City.
Government officials became wary as the situation could worsen up. The hijackers might not be knowledgeable in handling this kind of chemicals and if the truck would be found with leak, a large population might be in danger and lives would be counted.
