After reading an article about the assassination of JFK, I felt injustice on the part of this American president who was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. I think that U.S. government did not give enough support and sympathy to this person during the time of assassination. He was only arrested after shooting Dallas Patrol (a police officer). As a result, it led people to believe that this man is good and must be supported and celebrated. The date November 22 was memorable to many Americans as it marked the 50th year since his assassination in 1963.
Here are the five facts:
1. Oswald was not arrested after killing JFK
2. Assassinating the president wasn't a federal crime in 1963
3. TV networks suspended shows for four days
4. It led to the first and only time a woman has sworn in a U.S. president
5. Oswald had tried to assassinate Kennedy foe
