Apple: Who would be the first Senior Vice President Of Retail And Online Stores?

Apple Inc. was looking for someone who could level up the company image and retail growth. If we could remember, the only person who put Apple in the center of people's live, he was Steve Job. Now that he is gone, Apple decided to look for someone who shares the same passion and values according to CEO Tim Cook.

There were pool of candidates to be selected including executives from Coach, Nike, Disney and Starbucks. This time they chose a woman, a CEO from Burberry, she was admired and celebrated, Angela Ahrendts. According to the Guardian, the six monthly sales of Burberry this year topped £1 Billion under her leadership. She was also the top paid executive in UK with a salary of $ 27 Million. She would lead Burberry from 2006 until 2014 Spring and she would stepped down as CEO. Last October, she was announced to be joining Apple Inc starting 2014 Spring.

The new executive position she would handle at Apple includes Retail and Online Stores which would be mean more responsibilities and taking control over Apple Store business. The former executive of Apple who was fired handled Retail. Her new salary is not yet confirmed.
