Christmas Parties

Today is the time where people celebrate and party a lot. This is the tradition that tell our minds that we have to enjoy the few days before the New Year comes. The young ones usually go to a friend's party to drink, dance, and socialize, while the old ones go to a special dinner parties to see faraway relatives and reminisce about past achievements and life. These are the typical activities during the Christmas break.

When you go to an event, you usually look for your contacts who are probably your close friends, relatives, and classmates. Then, people from around that place will smile and greet at you, while others don't mind your presence at all (they might be busy entertaining other people as well or perhaps don't know much about you). Unwantedly, some of your relatives will start intriguing you about your status or whatsoever information regarding your personal life they want to know but you don't want them or people to know about this because of the fear that they can juice up this later on to another set of people which might probably cause annoyance or some negative feelings. In this case, better answer them correctly and carefully watch out your words. These are the kind of people whom you can't abstain from because they are part of your relatives.

After a while, set of activities will begin to start. The host of the party will preside over and tell the guests to sit down and make themselves feel at home. The group of children will enter the stage or center place to perform a dance number which is usually themed from a Christmas Songs or Modern hip hop songs. As the children move their hands and feet to follow the beat, the colorful costumes will slowly unveil and the ever increasing excitement and joy from their beautiful and promising faces. Followed by a special song number, typically from the guests or assigned person, he/she will sing her favorite song or Christmas songs through creativity and expressions of his/her desire to be part of the main event.

Soon enough the audience sits will start to be empty. During this time, many of them will begin to roam around the food and drinks section to see their favorite dishes and drinks

The food menu is usually composed of international food selections like spaghetti, pizza, soups, sushi & pork rolls, fried rice, dumplings, squid rings, kare-kare, fried chicken, grilled fishes, pork chops, barbecue, lasagna, macaroni, lamb chop, and beef steaks. You can also see some special dishes like Chicken Tika Masala (an indian native food), Chicken Cordon Bleu (a western style of pika-pika), Roasted Peking Duck (a chinese celebrated food), Prime Ribs (an american or australian special cured meat), and etc.

On the other hand, the drink menu comes with several type of liquid such as smoothie, syrups, cider, party punch, lemonade, mojito, margaritas, brandy, beer, wine, vodka, latte, champagne, grog, coffee, tea, cola, soft drinks, rum, sangria, chai, and shakes. Young and old love to drink and taste various kind of beverages.

Somewhere in the middle or corner, you will expect to see some cakes and pastries like ginger bread, moose cakes, fruit cakes, leche flan, chocolate cakes, bibingka (a filipino desert made from rice flour), fruit salad, ice cream, apple pies, banana cakes, cookies and candies. Most of the time kids enjoy this section because they love to eat sweets.

In a few moments after, the children are advised to go home and sleep early while the host will call his/her special guests to make some public speeches about the Christmas holidays or anything. The yawning guests will demand to start the real party while the host is pressured to run the next itinerary. The bright lights will dim a bit and colorful spot lights are now opened up with the beat of music popping up. The dance floor is now open for anyone who wants to party and shake their body. Some are shy and doesn't want to dance while the rest of the people will follow and move their hands up and twist their bodies and dance like a star.

All night long you will hear and watch these people dancing and singing unstoppable. The girls will scream to their excitement while the boys restlessly fill their cups and drink like a party animals. The show is not going to end until the sunrise in the next morning. The birds are found singing hymns of nature.
