It was rather a big announcement Nokia has ever made. Accordingly, it is going to change its plans which will likely to focus more on wearables and cellphone technology such as flexible screens, higher imaging sensor, wireless charging, and electromagnetic energy generation. In my opinion, it is not really a change in plans but rather, there's a growing plans between the Nokia group and Microsoft separately. However it is not yet clear with regards to the finnish. Nokia has been in a terrible situation when Microsoft made plans to acquire the company. In this case, we cannot make any sound judgement yet whether the plans of halting Android devices are realistic enough to make a certain conclusion.
Whereas, Microsoft have a separate plan for Nokia with regards to the platform system on which it will run. However included in the deal Nokia is prohibited from selling Nokia branded phones until the lapse of two years. Currently, the giant software is making most out of its Lumia category. Moreover, Microsoft will take over the apps and services of Nokia as part of an acquisition agreement between the two companies. If you have observed few days ago, the company is pushing its effort to offer Samsung in exchange of manufacturing phone units based on Windows Phone Models. In the history of Samsung smartphones, Android became the main platform on which its devices would run.
