Type-C Connector: USB 3.1 Super Speed

An announcement from USB Group said that a new Type-C Connector will be available in 2014. However, there are still no details regarding their initial plans. It only hopes that it will be smaller in size and flexible type of head which should help cater their previous Type A & B ports. It also added that it will expect a reduction of cable usage and perfect compatibility with the recent USB 3.1

The released of universal serial bus (USB) 3.1 few months ago had significantly increase data speed up to 10 Gbps. It had also utilized 5 power lines with larger energy consumption rate of 5 V which would enhance to best served the demands and voluminous data transfers. Accordingly, this type of USB would also be compatible for USB 2.0 and 3.0

Qualcomm Snap Dragon 805 versus MediaTek True Octa-Core

MediaTek True Octa-Core have 8 number of Cores which have advance web browsing,smoother user interface, superior gaming experience, and efficient video playback. The design is based on Multi-Core System on Chip which reduces energy consumption and thermal readings. It has graphical processor unit embedded in SoC and uses "Clear Motion Technology". It carries a maximum of 2 Ghz clock speed. It supports dual band wifi b/g/n, miracast screen-sharing, bluetooth, global positioning system and an FM tuner or radio.

Qualcomm Snap Dragon 805 have 4 number of cores which is capable to significant camera speed and higher result of image quality. It is design based on 450 Architecture running on 32 bit processor. It has a graphical processor unit of Adreno 420 which is 40% faster than the previous Adreno 320. It has a maximum of 2.5 Ghz clock speed. Furthermore, it has embedded a modem called Gobi 9x35. It supports LTE, dual band wifi ac, 4,000 video streaming, gyro, bluetooth, global positioning system and an FM Tuner or radio.

Will Microsoft take over Nokia?

A recent news came out saying that Nokia and Microsoft Deal has been approved by the majority shareholders of Nokia Company. If the plan goes well, Microsoft will acquire Nokia for $7.2 Billion dollars next year. Then, the license of Mobile group will be transferred to Microsoft group. There were also rumors that Stephen Elop will be going back to Microsoft and Steve Ballmer will replace as the new CEO for the mobile company.

Is this a secret plan of Microsoft before Stephen Elop before he replaced the previous Nokia CEO or just another deal to save Nokia from its declining market share? What do you think?

Apple Cuts Down iPhone 5C Production

The Foxconn factory reported a reduction in the production of Apple iPhone 5C from 50,000 pieces to 8,000 pieces. Despite high product sales in the third quarter, the company decided to increase production of 5S version to be shipped 3 to 5 days in the U.S. Some speculations believe that customers are not happy with iPhone made from pure plastic materials.

There are lots to say in buying new phone. 

Some people may also say that bringing your phone in a repair center/shop will just make you spend more money. Well, it depends on the part to be replaced.

Android operating system continues to exceed its market share more than 80% according to International Data Corporation on Mobile Phones. It featured a sky-rocketing growth of 51.3% over a year ago because of great apps and popularity.

This represents improvement in its services and apps. New innovation and better platforms. One of the issues, we face on mobile Phones, is the stability along with its cool graphic interface and useful functions.

They try to make newer and better versions of Android OS to outperform other competitors like IOS, Windows, and Blackberry. The next Android OS named "Kitkat", will it ever manage to further expand its market share along with its Android OS predecessors and other competitors.

Predict the Next Sony Mobile Phone After Z1

Hey guys, it's been two months since Sony had released Z1 which featured 20.7 megapixel camera and advanced internet speed on its wifi. It also boasted its IP58 certification, a dust and water proof approved, which can take up to 30 minutes. Amazing CPU Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 and GPU 330. It is also equipped with powerful battery pack 3000 mah and got a planned upgrade from Jelly bean to Kitkat version.

While it is mainstream to see powerful phones today, it gives me time to ponder what Sony Mobile Phone will plan to release. What kind of set features and competitive advantage will it play to the overwhelming smartphone industry.
